FAQ’s

We have a large range of Signature, Last Minute and Ready to Decorate Cakes, suitable for any celebration! All our cakes are baked onsite using quality ingredients including Free Range Eggs, Butter and Belgian chocolate. All our cakes are covered in Buttercream and layered with your choice of filling. We have been using the same recipe for many years with plenty of happy returning customers!

Last Minute Cakes

Need a cake urgently? We have a large range of cakes for all celebrations with an easy online ordering system. Order by 5pm for next day pick up and delivery. We deliver Monday to Saturday, for Sunday orders please order for Saturday pick up or Delivery.

For Saturday & Sunday Cakes please order by 12.30pm on Friday unless sold out prior. Saturday is our busiest day and we can book out before the cut off especially during peak periods.

All our cakes are baked onsite with plenty of flavours and options to choose from. Available Monday to Saturday.

Signature Cakes

Are available in our Cake Shop, all pricing and sizing is included. Please allow 4 days notice for signature cakes to avoid disappointment. We have plenty of cakes for all Celebrations including Kids Birthdays, Adult Birthdays, Anniversary’s and more!

Ready to Decorate Cakes

Love to Decorate but no time to bake? Our Ready To Decorate cakes come in a large variety of delicious flavours and fillings & can be ordered online via our Cake Shop. All RTD Cakes are covered in a Buttercream finish of your choice and ready for you to decorate with Cake Toppers, Toys, Chocolates, Flowers and More! 4 days notice required.

Milk Cakes

We supply a large range of milk cake trays. Freshly baked sponge cake soaked with fresh cream, milk and condensed milk, topped with whipped cream and plenty or delicious toppings from Lotus Biscoff to Banoffee Pie. Perfect for family get togethers & any birthday celebration!

Available to pre order every Thursday to Saturday. For Sunday orders please choose Saturday for pick up or delivery.

Brownies

Delicious fresh baked Belgian Chocolate Brownies and Blondies with an assortment of different toppings. Available in uncut and 12 cut slab trays.

Custard Tart Cakes

For something a little different try Our popular Custard Tart cakes. Vanilla Bean Tart topped with Vanilla Custard and plenty of other toppings including Biscoff, Nutella, Dulce De Leche, Caramel Custard, Cookies n Cream and More.

Available Thursday to Saturday. For Sunday orders please choose Saturday for Delivery or Collection.

All Online Shop Sales are Final.
No refunds for Change of mind. Strictly no refunds or credits due to the Weather, COVID, Flu or other illness etc.

If the product has been ordered more than 7 days in advance, and your request is more than 4 business days prior to delivery / pick up, we will allow you to change the delivery date once free of charge. The new delivery date must be within 90 days of the original booked date.
Any amendments to your order will incur a processing fee of $20.

For Custom Orders (not via the online shop) A minimum of 1 weeks notice (7 days) must be given to cancel your order and to receive a refund minus a $20 handling fee and payment for ANY special items we have purchased for your cake . If you cancel 5-7 days before your event your *deposit is non refundable but can be moved to another date depending on availability, must be used within 90 days. Cancellations 4 days or less, your deposit or full payment is non-refundable or transferable.

We are based in Casula, NSW, South West Sydney. Pick up & delivery is available Monday to Saturday (Sunday delivery only, NO PICK UP). We are CLOSED on Sundays and all Public Holidays unless stated otherwise for Special events (Mothers Day, Father’s Day etc). For Sunday orders please order for Saturday Pick up or Delivery on Saturday or Sunday. Last Minute, Signature & RTD Cakes will keep for approximately 4 days refrigerated.

Delivery

We deliver within approximately 40km of Casula, any further than this in the Sydney area please contact us for a quote before ordering to see if we can deliver to your suburb.

For all orders placed online your delivery cost will be calculated at checkout, local delivery starts at $15. Please allow 1 days notice for Last Minute Cakes and 4 days notice for Signature and RTD Cakes, Vintage Cakes 3 days notice required.

For Custom Cake orders (not placed via the online shop) Local Delivery starts from $25

We will deliver your order between 9am-4pm Monday to Sunday. For Saturday and Sunday online orders all MUST be placed by 2pm on Friday. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe but we will be in touch via email or text message the morning of delivery with an ETA. Usual delivery times for Monday – Friday are between 11am-4pm. Saturdays & Sundays are usually between 9am-2pm. If you require a later / earlier or specific delivery time please contact us for a quote, the cost will be different to online set pricing. Peak times (Christmas etc) may be between 8am-5pm, you will be notified if this is the case.

If no one is home your Cake will be left in a safe place if possible, you will be informed via email or phone. If there is no safe place to leave your order (ie apartment, school etc) you will be charged a re delivery fee for the next day. If your order is a perishable item (ie Custard Tart) and no one is home, your order will be forfeited as we are unable to leave out or re deliver.

If you need your order delivered at a specific time or early morning, please order the day before or choose Pick up if preferred.

Pick Up

At checkout you have the option to choose pick up and a time slot. We offer contact free pick up at a specific time of your choice Monday to Saturday only. We offer delivery for Sundays only. We will have your product ready to collect during your chosen time. Pick up is from Casula, address is supplied at checkout.

Once Collected please place your cake on a flat surface, usually on the floor on the passengers side unless you have someone to hold it. Do not place on the seat if it is tilted as the cake can slide. Once collected Sugar Whipped Cakes takes no responsibility for damaged cakes which can happen if the cake is not flat when travelling.

For Last Minute, Signature & Ready to Decorate Cakes, they can be kept at room temperature / displayed for the entire day of your event, providing it is not in direct sunlight or an extremely hot day. Please make sure your cake is served at room temperature, NOT straight from the fridge.

If you are decorating a Ready to Decorate Cake please decorate the cake when its cold straight from the fridge.

If your cake is to be served the next day, store in the fridge overnight in its box and bring to room temperature before serving (approximately 4-5 hours).

Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge, wrapped and sealed in an airtight container for 4 days. Always Bring to room temperature before serving.

All our cakes are made using: Wheat (Gluten), Eggs, Milk, Butter, Chocolate.

Our Cakes and Desserts are produced in a kitchen where eggs, nuts & wheat (gluten) & dairy are used. If nuts are used in a cake this will be noted at the time of ordering i.e. peanut butter drip cake (Peanuts) and kinder Bueno cake (Hazelnuts).

All cakes may contain traces of Peanuts / Tree nuts.

Our Cakes are Halal friendly. We do not add any alcohol or gelatine to our Cakes, Buttercream, Brownies, Custard Tarts, Milk Cakes or Cream.

Please take note, some of our cakes contain a mini closed alcohol bottle on top of the cake.

Some Seasonal products do contain alcohol: Baileys Rum Balls and Chocolate Rum Balls, this is noted in the description (Available December only).

Last Minute Cakes:

Just 1 days notice required for Last Minute Cakes and Last minute Kids Cakes, Order by 5pm for next day pick up and delivery.

Signature Cakes:

4 days notice for Signature Cakes & Signature Kids Cakes. We have plenty of cakes for all Celebrations including Kids Birthdays, Adult Birthdays, Anniversary’s and more!

Ready to Decorate Cakes:

4 Days notice required for all Ready to Decorate Cakes.

Brownies:

3 days notice required for Brownies and Blondie Slabs.

Custard Tart Cakes:

3 Days notice required for Custard Tart Cakes and Minis. Available Friday and Saturdays.

Milk Cakes:

3 Days notice required for Milk Cake Trays. Available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Slab Cakes:

4 days notice required for all Slab Cakes

Cupcakes:

4 days notice required for all cupcakes.

We specialise in buttercream covered cakes only, similar to what we have in our online shop, no fondant or novelty.

Please try and order at least 1-2 weeks in advance for ALL Custom Cake Orders. Please send your enquiry via Email or Text Message.

We have a Custom Slab Cake and Signature Cake where you can upload your own image to your cake. 4 days notice required for custom edible image cakes.

We also offer Custom Cakes & Logo Cupcakes for Corporate orders.

We have a NEW online cake range with plenty more options to choose from. Some slight changes may be possible on some Signature Cakes, please email us before ordering if you require a change.

Our Signature Celebration and Kids Cakes include Kids Birthday Cakes, Adult Cakes, 21st Birthday Cakes, 1st Birthday Cakes, 18th Birthday Cakes, 16th Birthday Cakes, 30th Birthday Cakes, 40th Birthday Cakes, 50th Birthday Cakes, Anniversary Cakes, Engagement Cakes, Small Weddings, Dessert Cakes and more, perfect for any celebration.

You can still choose your own Cake Flavour and Cake Filling with most of our last minute and signature cakes.

Last Minute Cakes

Choose your cake flavour and your filling! You have a choice of our Vanilla Velvet Cake or Chocolate Fudge Cake then your choice of filling.

Fill your cake with: Vanilla Buttercream, Raspberry Buttercream, Oreo Buttercream, Caramel Buttercream, Milk Chocolate Ganache or Strawberry Ganache.

Choose 1 filling for your cake. Optional if you order a small tall or medium tall cake you can choose 2 alternating fillings. Strictly for tall cakes only, write in the notes section at checkout if you would like this option.

Signature Cakes

Most Signature Cakes have the same options as our last minute cakes with the addition of lemon buttercream as an option.
